Back on Track

Alot has happened in the past couple of months. first i ran into a huge setback in terms of the driveshaft. i thought that there wasnt going to be a huge constraint on the height of the engine. unfortunately this was wrong and i wasnt able to align the tail of the transmission to the differential flange. this is forcing me to use a conventional shaft with universal joints. i ended up wasting alot of time machining the components for the shaft, but i guess lesson learned. anyway i think i am back on track. i have made alot of progress: the engine is mounted with sliding engine mounts to get the engine really far back, i fabricated a new cross member to clear the engine, new rear shifter bushing, new transmission mount structure, new transmission cross member, and i am reconstructing the trans tunnel since the old one didnt fit.
